Malware, Why it can’t be stopped
The world connected by the internet may never be truly free of malware or malicious programs that probes for unprotected computers and programs, ready to exploit any weaknesses found. These programs are designed ever so cleverly as to escape detection, with most doing their wrongdoing without even raising an eyebrow as to what has happened. Governments around the world and the many security companies have been battling them aggressively in efforts to tame them but the major enemy is the opacity of the internet.
One can be anybody he chooses on the net and with the right knowledge, they can do so effectively enough even to circumvent some of the most stringent security measures on the planet. From government web sites to military networks, they have all been breached by malware but without much news due to the chaeos that would ensue. Much of the world’s banking industry suffers from billions of dollars in losses due to fraud and identity theft, also happening behind the scenes so as not to shake the confidence of their depositors. This may the the reality of the net, one of people who know too much, enough to get around security and other measures, and those who know none, doing what they wish to do without a clue they’ve been hit by malware.
